Prepare a response paper:  What was your first impression of the narrator? Do you think he is reliable? Why, or why not? What was your first impression of the girls? What was your first impression of Lengel? Did your impression of any of the characters change as you read the story? If so, how? Why? Which aspect of the work affected you the most? Provide specific textual details and quotations to justify and/or explain your response to your reading of A & P.
