  1. I never watched America's Most Wanted before, but I just watched this episode and I am terrified to travel anywhere alone. I am scared next time I go to Burger King or Dunking Donuts that Paul will be standing behind me in line.
How could someone do something like this? People are so sick and have twisted minds.
What upset me the most was that he took the life of the 6-year-old girl that he met for the first time! It sickens me and I cried when I saw this episode. I can’t begin to express how I feel. I don’t think words could describe how I feel, but I know tears are flowing down my face right now and that I am terrified to sleep or go anywhere alone now. I am going to have nightmares tonight.
I don’t want to begin to think what I would do if someone shot my parents or brother. I think if they were killed and I was in the same house when it happened that I would commit suicide. Or even if I wasn’t if someone took my parents life, I wouldn’t be able to live. I am so dependent on my parents and feel like I can’t do anything without them especially my mom. I am really close with her and the thought of having her own brother kill her just disturbs me and sickens me. How can someone be so cruel? Why do people like this exist! What makes me so mad is that this guy is still out there and we don’t know if he will strike again. Who knows if he won’t come back to kill the little girl’s father? Just knowing he is out there makes me feel edgy and uncomfortable because we don’t know what else he is capable of and I fear for my life and for the families life.

  2. I had the same reaction to this story -- and several others that I've watched on America's Most Wanted. The good news is that while the episode was running, a motel owner in Florida recognized the killer and he was caught before the episode finished running! That's what's so amazing about AMW!
Apparently the killer had serious mental issues, stopped taking his medications, had tried to kill himself in the past -- doesn't excuse what he did, but like the killer in The Tell-Tale Heart, his mind was so sick and deranged he was evil.

  3. I have watched America's Most Wanted back when I was child, and I can recall an espisode about a teenager being kidnapped while on vacation. I remeber freaking out cause my parents were sending me to my cousins in California, which meant that I would traveling alone. I remember begging my parents not to send me anymore cause I didnt want to be kidnapped at the airport. My mom told me that everything would be alright since I would have an escort to the plane and the steward would make sure I got through security and on the flight alright. In the end, I managed to fly by myself to California, where I met up with my couins, but I still remember be so nervous at the airport.

  4. My favorite show is Law and Order: Special Victims Unit which makes me a sucker for shows like Americas Most Wanted. I have seen numerous episodes and love when they catch the suspect in the end. The most recent episode that I have watch which was so disturbing, involved a child. Every time an innocent child is evolved I almost get sick to my stomach when watching. In this specific episode, a young girl was kidnapped. She was taken from her room by a man who was doing yard work at her house. He kidnapped her and they began living in woods that were not far from her house. When the young girl was living with him, she would write in a diary in French. This enabled the kidnapper to read what she was writing. After 8 months, the girl was finally able to get away from the man. She was reunited with her family and the kidnapper was found and charged with both kidnap and rape. It is unbelieveable to see how sick some people can be. It was so sad to hear the things the girl had to encounter. I was very relieved so hear the man was caught and sent to jail.

  5. My dad is a retired New Rochelle police sergeant, so growing up I was constantly reminded of who "the bad guys" were. My dad would put America's Most Wanted on from time to time just to make his point, to remind me that those were "the bad guys" and he was "the good guy". He used to always say "I could catch him with my eyes closed, thats why he's hiding in (insert faraway state)." I don't remember the exact episode, but I do remember it involved an entire family being killed, leaving the youngest child alone; the only witness. The kid was abandoned and the only one who could point out his family's killer. He was too young and couldnt desrcibe him so the cops had nothing to go on. I remember feeling so upset by that, thinking that something bad would happen to my family and I wouldnt be able to help. I was scared as hell until my dad told me that they had just caught the murderer, and that he helped. I'm positive that he was lying, but at that moment I promised my dad that I'd help him catch "the bad guys" if they ever came to our house.

  6. I've never watched America's most wanted but watching that link I'm glad i don't. Just watching those clips infuriated me. How someone could be so selfish blows my mind. That a$$h*#& that killed that 6 year old girl is a monster. Just watching that stuff gets me very pissed. The boondock saints need to pay this guy a visit. And for that guy who is living the life in Dubai watching drag racing is another P.O.S. The family has to sit here and suffer while he drag races cars. Give me a break. In that interview, the crime he committed doesn't even phase him. What a coward he is to run away to another country and live a free life. I'm just very angry with these people. >=0

  7. I haven't watched this show in a long time, but I just watched the video that was put up on the website. This was the most disturbing video I have watched of America's Most Wanted. That man who murdered his family is so sick...I don't understand how people can do these things. There are so many sick people out there, it makes me so angry. I feel terrible for the rest of the family...who has the nerve to kill an innocent six year old girl?! Ugh, I cannot watch videos or movies, or read stories like this...I feel so affected by them...

  8. I have only watched a few episodes of America’s Most Wanted. What happened in one episode that I watched was so unbelievable that I will never forget it. There was a high speed chase on a major highway. The chase went on for a pretty long time. Then the person being chased pulled over and I thought that this meant that the case was over. This person got out of the car and proceeds to jump over the railing of the highway. This shows that some people will do almost anything to avoid being caught even if they might get hurt.

  9. I felt that one of the most terrifying cases was the plight of John's son Adam. And any other cases like that. They all make me extremely upset. Although I have a certain cold, dark corner in my heart where I keep my disdain for children, I am very sensative to people who have lost theirs. I can't imagine the immense amount of mental anguish caused by losing a child.
