Also print out a copy and bring with you to class on January 5th.
Prepare a First Response: Think about any childhood recollection(s) of Cinderella, perhaps from picture books or from the animated versions created by Walt Disney. Are you surprised by the differences between the Grimms' version and what you remember from your childhood? Write a first response contrasting the original with how you remember the story. What does the original version offer that the adaptations do not?
